In October 2023 we celebrated a pretty momentous occasion…our 150th Birthday!
We kicked off the celebrations with our very own P&K ‘Spinning Wheel’ where delighted customers spun the wheel and won exciting prizes, goodies, and vouchers.
Following that, we hosted our thrilling Trolley Grab, giving four fortunate locals the chance to dash through the store gathering as many groceries as they could within a set time. Our early morning crowd enjoyed delicious bacon butties and birthday cake while enthusiastically cheering on the contestants. Additionally, we made a donation of a trolley load of groceries to the local Martinborough Foodbank.
Next up was an exciting Family Fun Day, featuring Zappo the Magician, face painting, candy floss, and enchanting big bubbles in our car park, providing delightful entertainment for little ones in our community.
To conclude our celebrations, we held a Dinner and Dance event at the Waihinga Centre, gathering family, friends, and both past and present team members for an unforgettable evening of reconnecting and reminiscing. It was a fabulous conclusion to a truly memorable Birthday celebration!
